2017 is the 30th birthday of the Final Fantasy successful series created by Squaresoft in 1987. This series ad it’s music inspired thousands of gamers, developers and musicians in the whole the world.
This is, I think the best album we made with Pixel Mixers so far. Everybody really did their best to make great quality arrangements, as the organizer my heart is filled with pride !
We covered the totality of the songs from the NES version and also the additional tracks from the “Dawn of Souls” version, 32 tracks for 100 minutes of music.

Nobuo Uematsu‘s style of simple but how effective melodies is a real open door to creativity for arrangements, it was a real pleasure to hear those old classics getting a new face and I hope you’ll have fun discovering what we have done with those songs.

I love the album. I sat down last night, and listened to it straight through. Everything sounds great, and the album art is fantastic! I loved every minute of it, and even enjoyed listening to my own track for a change. Everyone did a great job!
My top 5 would probably be:
– Game Over
– Church
– Cornelia Castle
– Gurgu Volcano
– Town
Literally, not a bad track on the album. Even the little jingles were made interesting. This is my new favorite Pixel Mixers Album!
