Hello people, it’s time for the review of April cover contest results !
The theme was “Villain Themes” and it was full of surprises.
Even if there was a bit less participants it was full of surprises like members making big collabs, people really trying new music style or some really original arrangements completely changing the mood from the original.
My last point was referring to the audio winner of this month, Orchestral Fantasywith his crazy salsa version of Kefka’s Theme from Final Fantasy VI.
At the 2nd and 3rd places we have the 2 leaders of the 2017 Pixel Mixers championship: Subversiveasset and PrjzCalavera.
About the video contest it’s a victory for Subversiveasset followed by PrjzCalavera and at the 3rd place we have a tie between the heavy SwigglesRP and the Epic Italian Team composed of Psamathes, Dacian Grada and Danilo Ciaffi.
PrjzCalavera keeps the lead at the 2017 audio championship, followed by Subversiveasset who took the 2nd place to Hashel (who didn’t enter this month). At the 4th place there is a tie between SwigglesRP and Dancian Grada, finally at the 5th place is this month’s winner: Orchestral Fantasy.

January theme was “tutorial and introductions” and it was definitely the start of a new era for the Pixel Mixers Contests !
1st, it was with a brand fresh new organizer: Subversiveasset, who introduced new rules and a new voting system based not on points like before but on “head to head” victories.
2nd, none of the 2016 championship top 3 (Toxodentrail, Hashel05, Lord Bif Music) finished in this month top 3 and the winner PrjzCalavera never won any contest before, so the 2017 championship is gonna be full of surprises 😀
