Xenoblade Chronicles – chain attack

Our second album of 2024 is a project that has been on the work since 2022, a tribute to Xenoblade Chronicles 1 OST: Chain Attack.

It’s a 35 tracks tribute to the work of Manami Kiyota, Tomori Kudo, Yoko Shimomura and Yasunori Mitsuda. More than 100 musicians joined their forces to realise that album. It features a wide variety of music styles, including EDM, Electro Chill, Solo Piano, Rock, Metal, Orchestral, Jazz, Folk and much more !

Final fantasy v: to a new dawn [Tribute Album]

Final Fantasy V, released in 1992 on the Super Nintendo is often considered underrated compared to the other entries in the series. But it’s OST , filled with gems composed by Nobuo Uematsu, rivals all the other Final Fantasy!

So what would happen if a community of video game music lovers decides to make a tribute album of it ?

You get “To a New Dawn” a 42 tracks (2 hours and 40 minutes of music) homage to Uematsu’s work !

The Capcom Selection [Compilation Album]

For the very first time, Pixel Mixers are releasing a compilation album of their past works.
This is the first of many compilations to come. The goal being to share on official platforms a lot of the tracks we used to do before going “official”, on major platforms.

Pixel Mixers decided to go with relaxing/soothing covers of some of the most beautiful themes in VGM to make Tranquility a wholesome listening experience in support of SaveTheChildren.

Save the Children works hard to help children gain access to quality education and health services, support them in times of great need, and protect them from risks and harm. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time & Majora’s Mask: Sunrise & Moonfall [Tribute Album]

Today is the 31st of December 2020.
During this exhausting and nerve racking year, we worked on our newest huge album. This album is actually the 2nd largest album we’ve produced in our 5 year history.
From now on we’ll focus on relatively smaller projects.
The process took the full year, cost a lot of energy, but in the end it’s something we are all proud of!
So I’m very happy to introduce you to “Sunrise & Moonfall“, our tribute to the music from Majora’s Mask and Ocarina of Time!

Final Fantasy IX – Beyond the Mist [Tribute Album]

Hey guys, I have the great pleasure to talk about what is to this day the biggest and (subjectively) best work by the Pixel Mixers community.
This album sets a milestone for us as a community and everyone’s time and efforts is finally rewarded by the release of this great project!
So let’s discover “Beyond the Mist” a Final Fantasy IX Tribute album.

This album features 120 tracks (the complete OST + some duplicates) made by as many musicians. The album is over 7 hours long !
We decided to divide this album into 6 “discs”:
– A Night at Alexandria
– Across the Hills
– Of Rats and Men
– Far from Home
– Gaia & Terra
– Bonus Tracks

While most of the songs follow the OST order, we decided to take some freedom and create some narrative arcs. This is especially true with the 1st disc that gathers songs related to characters or events linked to the city of Alexandria through the whole game.

We all hope you’ll enjoy our new takes on those fantastic songs composed by Nobuo Uematsu and the creative freedom we took with some of the songs.

Shovel Knight – Dig It! [Tribute Album]

As we are getting closer to 2019, we are still working on bunch of projects that we hope to release before the end of the year. And we just finished one of those, so please welcome our new mini-album: Dig It! a tribute to Shovel Knight music!

This album features 11 songs out of  the Shovel Knight franchise, all composed by Jake Kaufman.
We gathered more than 30 musicians and the total length of the album is more than 41 minutes!

This is maybe our most uplifting album with some really dynamic rock songs that will give you a nice adrenaline kick, Celtic/Irish rock songs that will make you want to dance all night long, Latino music that will make you travel to Brazil, fusion, electro and a bit of chill to take a deserved rest after so many emotions!
